MINUTES
Representative Erickson, Chair of the Education Innovation Policy Committee, called the meeting to order at 8:16 AM on January 20, 2015, in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Nels Pierson moved to approve the minutes of January 15, 2015. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
Steve Dibb from the Minnesota Department of Education presented information on the World’s Best Workforce program. Ann Clark from the Regional Centers of Excellence joined Mr. Dibb at the testifier’s table to answer questions from Representatives.
Daron Korte from the Minnesota Department of Education presented the Special Education Case Load and Rule Alignment Task Force Update.
Jessie Montano from the Minnesota Department of Education presented the Special Education Online System Update.
Hue Nguyen from the Minnesota Department of Education presented a handout prepared by the Minnesota Department of Education’s Government Relations division.
The meeting was adjourned at 9:59 AM
