HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES REFORM COMMITTEE
MINUTES

Representative Mack, Chair of the Health and Human Services Reform Committee, called the meeting to order at 2:47 P.M. on February 25th, 2015, in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Mack called the meeting to order at 2:47 P.M. A quorum was present.

Representative Peterson moved that the minutes of February 24th, 2015 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Presentation of the Department of Human Services’ oversight of MNsure Eligibility Determinations for Public Health Care Programs by the Office of the Legislative Auditor (OLA). James Nobles, Legislative Auditor, Cecile Ferkul, Deputy Legislative Auditor and Mike Hassing, Audit Director presented from the Office of the Legislative Auditor. Counties that presented included Heidi Welsch, Director of Income Maintenance, Olmsted County and Marti Fischbach, Director of Economic and Employee Assistance from Dakota County. Commissioner Lucinda Jesson and Deputy Commissioner Chuck Johnson presented from Department of Human Services.

The meeting was adjourned at 4:32 P.M.
