MINUTES

Representative Cornish, Chair of the Public Safety and Crime Prevention Policy and Finance Committee, called the meeting to order at 10:21 A.M. on February 19, 2015 in Hearing Room 10 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Cornish called the meeting to order at 10:21 A.M. A quorum was present.

Representative Considine moved that the minutes from the February 18, 2015 meeting be approved.

Vice Chair Johnson assumed the gavel at 11:04 A.M.

HF 0800 (Cornish): Fire safety account funds appropriated, money and appropriated.

Representative Cornish moved to hold over bill for possible inclusion in omnibus bill.

Representative Cornish moved to amend HF 0800 as follows:

Page 1, Line 17, strike “$13,100,000” and insert “$13,956,000” in both occurrences.

HF 0239 (Anderson, P): Conservators provided an exception to post bond for the assets of a protected person.

Representative Cornish moved to pass HF 0239 and move to General Register.

Representative Cornish moved the DE2 Amendment.

THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Cornish renewed his motion to pass HF 0239, as amended, and move to General Register.
