STATE GOVERNMENT FINANCE COMMITTEE
MINUTES

Representative Anderson, Chair of the State Government Finance Committee, began the meeting at 1:04 P.M. on February 23, 2016, at the Willmar Legion Post 167.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Chair Anderson began the meeting at 1:04 P.M. A quorum was NOT present.

Larry Kleindl, County Administrator for Kandiyohi County, gave feedback on county audit practices.

Representative Miller gave a presentation on HF1414 (Hancock).

HF1414 (Hancock) – Montevideo and Bemidji; veterans homes funding provided, nonstate contributions allowed, bonds issued, and money appropriated.

Marvin Garbe, City Council President, and Angela Steinbach, Assistant City Manager, of the City of Montevideo, gave a presentation of the Montevideo Regional Veterans Home Proposal and Plan of Action.
