MINUTES

Representative Loon, Chair of the Education Finance Committee, called the meeting to order at 1:03 P.M. on February 9th, 2017, in Room Five of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Poston moved that the minutes of February 7th, 2017 be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Marquart moved that the minutes of February 8th, 2017 be adopted. THE MO-TION PREVAILED.

HF255 Anderson, K-12 education expense credit modified, credit amount and income phase out increase, and credit phase out threshold adjusted for inflation.

Representative Erickson moved that HF255 be re-referred to the Committee on Taxes.

Representative Anderson testified on HF255.

Representative Loon renewed the motion that HF255 be re-referred to the Committee on Taxes. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF387 Knoblach, K-12 education expense subtraction and credit modified, credit extended to tui-tion, subtraction and credits amounts increased, income phase out increased, and credit adjusted for inflation.

Representative Peterson moved that HF387 be re-referred to the Committee on Taxes.

Representative Knoblach testified on HF387.

Representative Kresha moved that HF386, First Engrossment, be re-referred to the Committee on Taxes.

Representative Kresha moved the A3 Amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
