MINUTES

Representative Loon, Chair of the Education Finance Committee, called the meeting to order at 1:05 P.M. on March 7th, 2017, in Room Five of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Jurgens moved that the minutes of March 3rd, 2017 be adopted. THE MO-TION PREVAILED.

HF268 Theis, Academic and behavioral interventions for low-perfuming and chronically absent student grants authorized, and money appropriated.

Representative Theis moved that HF268 be laid over for possible inclusion in an omnibus bill or for further action at a later time.

Representative Scott moved that HF670 be laid over for possible inclusion in an omnibus bill or for further action at a later time.

HF1874 Poston, Collaborative urban educator program funding provided, and money appropri-ated.

Representative Poston moved that HF1874 be laid over for possible inclusion in an omnibus bill or for further action at a later time.

Representative Poston moved adoption of the H1874A3 amendment, as amended, by the follow-ing oral amendment:
Line 1.2 delete $1,595,000 and insert $1,485,000,
Line 1.3 delete $1,645,000 and insert $1,535, and
Line 1.6 delete $220,000 and insert $110,000.
THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT, AS AMENDED, WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Poston testified on HF1874, as amended.
