MINUTES

Representative Bennett, Vice Chair of the Education Finance Committee, called the meeting to order at 1:03 P.M. on April 12th, 2018 in Room 5 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Marquart moved that the minutes of April 11, 2018 be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF1944 Nash, Temporary refundable high school youth skills training tax credit established for employers, report required, and money appropriated

Representative Bennett moved HF1944 be re-referred to the Committee on Ways and Means.

Representative Bennett moved amendment H1944DE5 be adopted. THE MOTION PRE-VAILED.

Representative Nash testified on HF1944, as amended.

Representative Loon laid over HF3119 for possible inclusion in an omnibus bill or for further ac-tion at a later date.

HF3115 Erickson, Prekindergarten through grade 12 education provided, including general educa-tion, education excellence, teachers, special education, facilities and technology, nutrition, early childhood and family support, and self-sufficiency and lifelong learning.
