MINUTES

Representative O’Driscoll, Chair of the Government Operations and Elections Policy, began the meeting at 10:15AM on February 7th, 2017, in the Hearing Room 10 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Chair O’Driscoll called the meeting to order at 10:15AM. A quorum was present.

Representative Nelson moved to approve the minutes of February 2nd, 2017. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF697 (Sundin) Indian tribal officials allowed to take a leave of absence when elected to public office.

Chair O’Driscoll moved HF697 come before the committee.

Chair O’Driscoll moved the HF697A1 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Sundin testified on HF697.

Chair O’Driscoll moved HF314 to come before the committee.

Representative Anderson, S. testified on HF314.

Representative Halverson moved the HF314A1 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
