MINUTES
Representative O’Driscoll, Chair of the Government Operations and Elections Policy, began the meeting at 10:15AM on March 16th, 2017, in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Chair O’Driscoll called the meeting to order at 10:16AM. A quorum was present.
HF2177 (Nick Zerwas) Advanced practice registered nurses and physician assistants added to certain statutes.
Chair O’Driscoll moved that HF2177 come before the committee and be re-referred to the General Register.
Representative Pierson testified regarding HF2177.
Chair O’Driscoll moved the HF2177A1 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
Chair O’Driscoll renewed the motion that HF2177, as amended, be re-referred to the General Register. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
Representative Freiberg moved to approve the minutes of March 15th. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
HF729 (Kelly Fenton) Election administration provisions changed, and technical changes made.
Chair O’Driscoll moved that HF729 come before the committee and be re-referred to the General Register.
Representative Fenton testified regarding HF729.
Chair O’Driscoll moved the HF729DE1 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
Representative West moved the HF729A1 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Quam moved the HF729A17-0227 amendment. THE MOTION DID NOT PREVAIL AND THE AMENDMENT WAS NOT ADOPTED.
