HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES FINANCE COMMITTEE
MINUTES

Vice Chair Albright began the meeting to order at 1:03 PM on March 8, 2018, in Room 200 of the State Office Building. A quorum was not present.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Commissioner of the Department of Health Jan Malcolm gave an overview of the reports that were heard in committee.

At 1:14, a quorum was reached and Chair Albright officially called the meeting to order.

Rep. Loonan moved the minutes of March 7, 2018 for approval. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

The Minnesota Department of Health presented the Adverse Health Events Report to the Committee and answered questions.

Kristen Ehresmann, Director for Infectious Diseases, Minnesota Department of Health

The Minnesota Department of Health presented the Public Health Response Account Report to the Committee and answered questions.

Diane Rydrych, Director of Health Policy Division, Minnesota Department of Health

The Minnesota Department of Health presented the Treated Chronic Disease Costs in Minnesota to the Committee and answered questions.

Stefan Gildemeister, State Health Economist, Minnesota Department of Health

The meeting was adjourned at 2:50 PM.
