Representative Nornes and Senator Michelle Fischbach, Co-chair of the Higher Education and Career Readiness Policy and Finance Joint Committee, called the meeting to order at 9:34 AM on May 7, 2018 in Hearing Room 10 of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Albright moved to suspend the joint committee rules and extend an additional 10 minutes and limit the answers to 1 minute. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Zerwas moved to suspend the joint committee rules to recommended two regent candidates. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
The Joint Committee recommended Mary Davenport and Brooks Edwards for the 1st Congressional District.
The Higher Education and Career Readiness Policy and Finance Joint Committee meeting was adjourned at 10:57 AM.
