MINUTES

Representative Anderson, Chair of the State Government Finance Committee, began the meeting at 1:01 PM, March 14, 2017 in Room 10 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was not present.

HF 1030 (Drazkowski) - Employees allowed to opt out of state-paid insurance and benefits.

Representative Anderson officially called the meeting to order at 1:03 PM.

Representative Green moved the minutes from March 9, 2017. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Anderson moved that HF 1030 come before the committee and be laid over for possible inclusion in the State Government Finance omnibus bill.

Representative Anderson renewed her motion for HF 1030 to be laid over for possible inclusion in the State Government Finance omnibus bill.

Representative Anderson moved that HF 2073 come before the committee and be laid over for possible inclusion in the State Government Finance omnibus bill.

HF 2073 (Drazkowski) - Public subsidy program repealed, and voluntary pledges to abide by expenditure limits provided.

Representative Anderson moved that HF 1418 come before the committee and be re-referred to the General Register.

HF 1418 (Barr, R.) - Lottery prize provisions modified, and State Lottery budget and expenses provided.

Representative Anderson renewed her motion for HF 1418 to be re-referred to the General Register. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Dettmer moved HF 127 come before the committee and be laid over for possible inclusion in the State Government Finance omnibus bill.

Representaitve Dettmer moved the HO127A1 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

HF 127 (Dettmer) - Vietnam: Minnesota Remembers public television project funding provided, and money appropriated.
