Representative Bob Dettmer, Chair of the Veterans Affairs Division, called the meeting to order at 12:59 PM on February 26, 2018, in Room 5 of the State Office Building. A quorum was present.

Chair Dettmer introduced the new Adjutant General, Jon A. Jensen, to the Committee.
Adjutant General Jensen addressed the Committee and took questions from members.
HF2908 (Wills) Rosemount; U.S. Highway 52 designated as Warrant Office Dennis A. Groth Memorial Bridge.
Chair Dettmer moved HF2908 be re-referred to the Transportation and Regional Governance Policy Committee.

HF2788 (Dettmer) School counselors required to receive training in armed forces career options, school counselors required to inform students of armed forces career options, and school districts encouraged to grant military recruiters access to secondary students.
