MINUTES

Representative Drazkowski, Chair of the Property Tax and Local Government Finance Committee, began the meeting at 8:15AM on April 18th, 2018 in the Basement room of the State Office Building. A quorum was not present.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

HF3710 (Davids) Duluth; regional exchange district for development purposes authorized, and extension of taxes authorized.

Representative Drazkowski officially called the meeting to order at 8:20AM. A quorum was present.

Representative Barr moved that HF3710 be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill.

Representative Barr moved the HF3710A1 Amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Barr renewed her motion that HF3710, as amended, be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Rarick moved the minutes from April 17th, 2018 be approved. THE MINUTES WERE APPROVED.

HF2010 (Theis) St. Cloud; local tax increase allowed.

Representative Hertaus moved that HF2010 be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill.

Representative Hertaus moved the HF2010DE1 Amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Hertaus renewed his motion that HF2010, as amended, be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF4354 (Anderson, P.) Melrose; fire remediation grant availability extended.

Representative Anderson, P. moved that HF4354 be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill.

Representative Anderson, P. moved the HF4354A1 Amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
