Representative Knoblach, Chair of the Ways & Means Committee, called the meeting to order at 7:40PM on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 in the Room 120 of the Capitol.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Davids moved that the minutes of March 6, 2017 be approved

HF369 (Tama Theis) Centers for independent living funding provided, and money appropriated for career education and job skills training for low-income individuals.
Representative Theis presented HF369

Kara Ruff, Executive Director, Centers for Independent Living testified in favor of the bill

Representative Knoblach renewed his motion to refer HF369 to the General Register

HF474 (Tony Albright) Medical Practice Board criminal background checks authorized, and physicians exempted from criminal background checks under the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact.
