MINUTES

Representative Mike Freiberg, Chair of the Government Operations Committee, called the meeting to order at 9:46 a.m. on February 25, 2020 in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Elkins moved that the minutes from the committee meeting on February 20th, 2020 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Freiberg moved HF3429 be referred to the State Government Finance Committee.

HF3429 (Dehn); Elections; various technical and policy changes made.

Representative Sauke moved HF3429A1. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Elkins moved HF3429A3. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Dehn presented the bill.

HF3006 (Freiberg); Eliminate required legislative approval for spending federal Help America Vote Act funding.

Representative Nash moved HF3006A1.

Representative Nash requested a roll call.

Representative Nash withdrew his request for a roll call.

Representative Nash renews his motion to adopt HF3006A1. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
