MINUTES

Representative Mary Murphy, Chair of Capital Investment Division, called the meeting to order at 7:54 A.M. on, April 11, 2019, in Room 10 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

Vice Chair Lee assumed the gavel.

Representative Lillie moved to approve the minutes from April 9, 2019. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 2529 (Murphy) Delete everything amendment.

Chair Murphy moved HF2529 be recommended to pass and be re-referred to the committee on Ways and Means.

Chair Murphy moved the H2529DE1 Amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Chair Murphy moved the H2529A4 amendment.

Chair Murphy offered an oral amendment to the amendment as follows:

After page 2, line 11, insert “page 64, line 30, delete “special” and insert “general”

THE AMENDMENT TO THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Chair Murphy moved the H2529A4 Amendment as amended. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Sandstede moved the H2529A3 Amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Rep Dehn moved the H2529A5 amendment.

Chair Murphy moved for a division in the amendment between lines 4 and 5. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Dehn moved lines 1-4 of the HF2529 Amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Dehn withdrew the second part of the HF2529 amendment.

Chair Murphy renewed her motion that HF2529, as amended, be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Committee on Ways and Means. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF2129 (Murphy); Rural Finance Authority funding provided, bonds issued, and money appropriated.

Chair Murphy moved to re-refer HF 2129 to the Ways and Means Committee.

Chair Murphy renewed her motion that HF2129 by re-referred to the Ways and Means Committee. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

The Meeting was adjourned at 8:32 A.M.

The division will NOT meet at 8:00 am on Friday, April 12 in Room 5.
