MINUTES
Representative Jim Davnie, Chair of the Education Finance Division, called the meeting to order at 9:45 am on March 7, 2019 in Room 5 of the State Office Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.
Rep. Erickson moved that the minutes from March 6, 2019 be approved. Motion prevailed.
HF 789 (Carlson) Authorizes the Robbinsdale school district to transfer up to $7 million from its OPEB trust fund to the undesignated balance in its general fund to compensate for years when certain OPEB costs were paid with general fund dollars instead of money from the district’s OPEB trust fund.
Chair Davnie moved HF 789 before the committee; that it be laid over for possible inclusion in a future K12 omnibus bill.
Rep. Carlson presented HF 789.
Chair Davnie renewed that HF 789 be laid over for possible inclusion in a future K12 omnibus bill. The bill was laid over.
