MINUTES

Representative Hansen, Chair of the Environment and Natural Resources Finance Division, called the meeting to order at 12:47 P.M. on March 21st, 2019, in Hearing Room 5 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Chair Hansen called the meeting to order at 12:47 P.M. A quorum was present.

Representative Persell moved to approve the minutes of March 20th, 2019. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF2076 (Carlson) Closed landfill investment fund procedures modified.

Chair Hansen moved that HF2076 be laid over for possible inclusion in an omnibus bill.

Representative Wagenius moved to adopt the DE1 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Testifying on HF2076:

Chair Hansen renewed the motion that HF2076, as amended, be laid over for possible inclusion in an omnibus bill. The bill was laid over.

HF1413 (Lippert) Prairie restoration plan funding provided, and money appropriated.

Chair Hansen moved that HF1413 be recommended to be returned to the Committee on Ways and Means with a recommended re-referral to the Energy and Climate Finance and Policy Division. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF1584 (Lee) Small business loan program for environmental improvement modified.

Representative Lee moved that HF1584 be recommended to be returned to the Committee on Ways and Means.

Representative Lee renewed the motion that HF1584 be recommended to be returned to the Committee on Ways and Means. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Vice Chair Claflin assumed the gavel at 1:04 P.M.

HF1709 (Hansen) Metropolitan landfill contingency action trust account money transferred.

Chair Hansen moved that HF1709 be laid over for possible inclusion in an omnibus bill.

Chair Hansen renewed the motion that HF1709 be laid over for possible inclusion in an omnibus bill. The bill was laid over.

HF2067 (Hansen) Dry cleaner fees modified, limited transfer of sales tax revenues allowed, and money appropriated.

Chair Hansen moved HF2067 for consideration before the committee.

Representative Heintzeman moved that HF953 be laid over for possible inclusion in an omnibus bill.
