MINUTES

Representative Liebling, Chair of the Division, called the meeting to order at 12:48 P.M. on February 13, 2020 in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

Chair Liebling welcomed the two new members of the committee – Representative Sydney Jordan and Representative Debra Kiel – who briefly introduced themselves.

Representative Moran moved that the minutes of April 2, 2019; April 3, 2019; April 5, 2019; April 10, 2019; May 24, 2019, September 26, 2019 and December 2, 2019 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Scott Ikeda, Assistant Attorney General, Minnesota Attorney General’s Office and Jan Malcolm, Commissioner, Minnesota Department of Health, presented information on the impacts on Minnesotans if the Affordable Care Act is overturned.

The meeting was adjourned at 2:22 P.M.
