MINUTES

Representative Tim Mahoney, Chair of the Jobs and Economic Development Finance Division, called the meeting to order at 8:00 AM on February 14, 2019, in Room 200 of the State Office Building. A quorum was not present.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present at 8:02 AM.

Representative Backer moved the minutes of February 12, 2019 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE MINUTES WERE APPROVED.

HF 363 (Gunther) Southern Minnesota Initiative Foundation, Southwest Initiative Foundation, and Neighborhood Development Center funding provided, and money appropriated.

Representative Gunther moved that HF 363 be laid over for possible inclusion in an Omnibus Bill.

The following individuals testified on HF 363:

Diana Anderson, Southwest MN Initiative Foundation
Pam Bishop, Southern MN Initiative Foundation
Isabelle Chanslor, Neighborhood Development Center

Representative Gunther renewed his motion that HF 363 be laid over for possible inclusion in an Omnibus Bill.

HF 412 (Ecklund) Cook County Higher Education Board funding provided, and money appropriated.

Representative Ecklund moved that HF 412 be laid over for possible inclusion in an Omnibus Bill.

Representative Ecklund renewed his motion that HF 412 be laid over for possible inclusion in an Omnibus Bill.

HF 263 (Koegel) Minnesota Association for Volunteer Administration grant funding provided, reports required, and money appropriated.

Representative Koegel moved that HF 263 be laid over for possible inclusion in an Omnibus Bill.

Representative Koegel moved the A19-0017 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Koegel renewed her motion that HF 263 as amended be laid over for possible inclusion in an Omnibus Bill.

Chair Mahoney adjourned the meeting at 9:10 AM
