Representative Tim Mahoney, Chair of the Jobs and Economic Development Finance Division, called the meeting to order at 9:02 on April 24, 2020. A quorum was present.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

The Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development gave a presentation on federal and state efforts thus far to help businesses.

HF 1507 (Stephenson) Minnesota investment fund grant program limits modified, job training grant program modified, and money appropriated.

Rep. Stephenson presented HF 1507.

Rep. Stephenson moved that HF 1507 be referred to the committee on Ways and Means.

Rep. Stephenson moved the DE2 amendment. THE MOTION PASSES. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Rep. Mahoney moved to allow non partisan staff to make technical changes to reflect the will of the committee. THE MOTION PASSES.

Rep. Stephenson renewed the motion that HF 1507 as amended be referred to the committee on Ways and Means and requested a roll call vote.
