Representative Lesch, Chair of the Judiciary Finance and Civil Law Division, called the meeting to order at 9:49 AM on Thursday, February 27, 2020 in Room 10 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Considine moved to adopt the minutes from February 25, 2020. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 998 (Ecklund): Sentencing veterans for criminal offenses related to a service-related disorder court guidance provided.

Chair Lesch moved that HF 998 be recommended to be re-referred to the Ways and Means Committee.



Representative Noor moved to adopt the A3 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Ecklund presented HF 998 to the committee.

HF 3749 (Edelson): Reproductive health service and facilities access interference prohibited, and criminal penalties established.

Chair Lesch moved that HF 3749 be recommended to be placed on the General Register.

Chair Lesch moved to adopt the A2 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Edelson presented HF 3749 to the committee.
