MINUTES

Representative Lillie, Chair of Legacy Finance Division, called the meeting to order at 12:48 P.M. on February 27, 2019, in Room 5 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present at 12:49 P.M.

HF1448 (Mariani); Science Museum of Minnesota funding provided, and money appropriated.

Chair Lillie moved that HF1448 be laid over for possible inclusion into the Legacy Finance omnibus bill.

Representative Mariani introduced the bill.

Testifying in support of the bill:
-Alison Brown, President of Science Museum of Minnesota
-Laurie Fink, Vice President of Science for Science Museum of Minnesota
-Jon Severson, Director of Strategic Partnerships for Science Museum of Minnesota

Chair Lillie renewed his motion that HF1448 be laid over for possible inclusion into the Legacy Finance omnibus bill.

Representative Heintzeman moved to approve the minutes from February 20, 2019. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF396 (Wolgamott); Great River Children’s Museum funding provided, and money appropriated.

Chair Lillie moved that HF396 be laid over for possible inclusion into the Legacy Finance omnibus bill.

Representative Wolgamott introduced the bill.

-Sara McKeever, Board Member of Great River Children’s Museum

Chair Lillie renewed his motion that HF396 be laid over for possible inclusion into the Legacy Finance omnibus bill.

HF1474 (Hausman); Minnesota Humanities Center and Veterans’ Voices program funding provided, and money appropriated.

Representative Hausman moved that HF1474 be laid over for possible inclusion into the Legacy Finance omnibus bill.

Representative Hausman introduced the bill.

Representative Hausman renewed her motion that HF1474 be laid over for possible inclusion into the Legacy Finance omnibus bill.

-Liz Lynch, Director of Lake Agassiz Regional Library

The meeting was adjourned at 2:16 P.M.
