MINUTES

Representative Nelson, Chair of the State Government Finance Committee, called the meeting to order at 6:30 PM, April 1, 2019 in the Basement Hearing of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Huot moved that the minutes from the committee meeting on March 29th, 2019 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Acomb moved HF2746 be held over for possible inclusion in the Division Omnibus Bill.

HF2746 (Acomb); Appropriating money to preserve and make accessible historic resources.

Vice Chair Carlson assumed the gavel at 7:11 PM.

Chair Nelson moved HF2751 be held over for possible inclusion in the Division Omnibus Bill.

Chair Nelson moved Amendment H2751DE2 Amendment.

Representative Albright moved divide the Amendment between Line 1.7 and Line 1.8. The amendment was divided and voted on separately.

Representative Albright requested a roll call vote on Amendment H2751DE2 Part 1.

Vice Chair Carlson moved Amendment H2751DE2 Part 2. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT, AS AMENDED, WAS ADOPTED.

HF2751 (Nelson); Reducing the base appropriation to the Minnesota Humanities Center; prohibiting grants for the Healthy Eating, Here at Home program in fiscal years 2020 and 2021.

Chair Nelson moved HF2750 be held over for possible inclusion in the Division Omnibus Bill.

HF2750 (Nelson); Reducing the base appropriation to the commissioner of administration; prohibiting a transfer to the Minnesota Film and TV Board in fiscal years 2020 and 2021.
