Representative Rob Ecklund, Chair of the Veterans and Military Affairs Finance & Policy Division, called the meeting to order at 2:30 P.M. on April 21st, 2020, pursuant to House rule 10.01. The meeting was broadcasted via Zoom and House Public Information Services.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Brand moved approval of the minutes, motion prevailed.

Jon Jensen, Adjutant General of the MN National Guard, gave a presentation of the Department of Military Affairs

Larry Herke, Commissioner, Douglas Hughes, Deputy Commissioner of Healthcare, Dave Bellefeuille, Director of Education & Employment, Andrew Garvais, Director of Veterans Programs and Memorial Affairs, and Ben Johnson, Legislative Director gave a presentation of the Department of Veterans Affairs

HF 4222 (Edelson) Dental services provision for veteran home residents authorized

The Chair moved that House File 4222 be referred to the General Register.
