Environment and Natural Resources Finance and Policy MINUTES
Representative Hansen, Chair of the Environment and Natural Resources Finance and Policy Committee, called the meeting to order at 1:00 P.M. on January 21st, 2021, pursuant to House rule 10.01. The meeting was conducted over Zoom and broadcast via House Public Information Services, Facebook Live, and YouTube live streaming.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll. Members present:

Chair Hansen called the meeting to order at 1:01 P.M. A quorum was present.

Rep. Nelson moved that the minutes from January 19th, 2021 be approved. MOTION PREVAILED.

Rep. Wazlawik assumed the gavel at 1:03 P.M.

HF91 (HANSEN) Dry cleaner environmental response and reimbursement account expenditures prioritized, perchloroethylene banned, prior appropriation modified, cost-share program funding provided, and money appropriated.

Rep. Hansen motioned that HF91 be re-referred to the House Ways and Means Committee. Rep. Hansen presented HF91.
Rep. Hansen incorporated an oral amendment to the H0091A2 as follows: Page 1, line 10, delete “$255,000” and insert “$213,000”
Page 1, line 17, delete “fiscal year 2021 is appropriated from the remediation fund to” and insert “unexpended funds from the transfer made under Laws 2019, first special session, chapter 4, article 1, section 2, subdivision 10, paragraph (c), shall be expended by”

Page 1, line 22, delete “This is a onetime appropriation and” and insert “The money made available under this paragraph”

Rep. Hansen moved that HF91 be amended by H0091A2, as amended, and a roll call was taken:

By a vote of 19 Ayes and 0 Nays, the motion prevailed and amendment was ADOPTED.

Rep. Hansen renewed the motion that HF91, as amended, be re-referred to the House Ways and Means Committee, a roll was taken:
