MINUTES

Representative Hansen, Chair of the Environment and Natural Resources Finance and Policy Committee, called the meeting to order at 1:00 P.M. on March 9th, 2021, pursuant to House rule 10.01. The meeting was conducted over Zoom and broadcast via House Public Information Services, Facebook Live, and YouTube live streaming.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Chair Hansen called the meeting to order at 1:00 P.M. A quorum was present.

Rep. Jordan moved that the minutes from March 5th, 2021 be approved with edit. MOTION PREVAILED.

HF1727 (ECKLUND) Farmed Cervidae additional fencing requirement established, white-tailed deer possession moratorium provided, and farmed Cervidae regulatory duties and powers transferred from Board of Animal Health to Department of Natural Resources.

Rep. Ecklund moved that HF1727 be recommended to be re-referred to the Agriculture Finance and Policy Committee

Rep. Ecklund moved the H1727A2 to amend HF1727, and the amendment was ADOPTED.

Rep. Ecklund presented the bill, as amended.

Rep. Ecklund renewed the motion that HF1727, as amended, be recommended to be re-referred to the Agriculture Finance and Policy Committee and a roll was taken:

HF1562 (HANSEN) Mining permit financial assurance money investment account established, submission deadline modified, state park permit provisions modified, decoy shooting from motor vehicles prohibited, blaze orange or blaze pink requirements established for ground blinds, motorized decoy restrictions modified, turtle taking provisions modified, and money appropriated.

Rep. Hansen moved that HF1562 be recommended to be re-referred to the Public Safety and Criminal Justice Reform Finance Committee.

Rep. Hansen incorporated the oral amendment “on Page 3, Line 4, delete 2020 and insert 2022.” and moved H1562A2, as amended, to amend HF1562 and the amendment was ADOPTED.

Rep. Hansen renewed his motion that HF1562, as amended, be recommended to be re-referred to the Public Safety and Criminal Justice Finance Committee and a roll was taken:
