Vice Chair Acomb moved that the minutes of January 26th, 2021, be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Long presented House Research BE161, A bill for an act relating to energy; creating a process regulated by the Public Utilities Commission allowing electric utilities to reduce the cost impacts on customers when generating plants are retired, through the sale of bonds; establishing an account; providing for transition services to workers at retiring electric generating plants; proposing coding for new law in Minnesota Statutes, chapter 216B.
