CLIMATE AND ENERGY FINANCE AND POLICY MINUTES

Representative Jamie Long, Chair of the Committee on Climate and Energy Finance and Policy, called the virtual meeting to order at 10:30 AM on April 7th, 2022 pursuant to House rule 10.01. The meeting was broadcast via Zoom and House Public Information Services.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Vice Chair Acomb moved that the minutes of March 24th, 2022, be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Long presented HF 3337, a bill for an act relating to utilities; modifying submission dates for certain reports; amending Minnesota Statutes 2020, sections 216B.096, subdivision 11; 237.55.

Representative Long moved that HF 3337 be rereferred to the committee on Ways and Means.

Representative Long moved the HF3337DE2 amendment.

Representative long moved the A3 to the HF3337DE2, THE MOTION PREVAILED, THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Long moved the A10 to the HF3337DE2, THE MOTION PREVAILED, THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Lislegard moved the A5 to the HF3337DE2, THE MOTION PREVAILED, THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Hollins moved the A6 to the HF3337DE2, THE MOTION PREVAILED, THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Boe moved the A1 to the HF3337DE2, THE MOTION PREVAILED, THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Acomb moved the A7 to the HF3337DE2.

Representative Acomb withdrew the A7 amendment.

Representative Boe moved the A9 to the HF3337DE2, THE MOTION DID NOT PREVAIL, THE AMENDMENT WAS NOT ADOPTED.

Representative Swedzinski moved the A8 to the HF3337DE2.

Representative Swedzinski requested a roll call on the A8 amendment.
