STATE GOVERNMENT FINANCE & ELECTIONS COMMITTEE MINUTES

Representative Michael V. Nelson, Chair of the Committee, called the virtual State Government Finance & Elections Committee meeting to order at 8:30 AM, March 12, 2021 pursuant to House rule 10.01. The meeting was conducted over Zoom and broadcast via House Public Information Services and Facebook Live.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Carlson moved that the minutes from the committee meeting on March 11, 2021 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Chair Nelson moved to adopt the Local Government Division Report on HF1481. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE REPORT WAS ADOPTED.

Chair Nelson moved HF1481 be referred to the General Register.

HF1481 (Olson, L.); Modifying the Seaway Port Authority of Duluth to allow for creation of a nonprofit corporation.
