MINUTES

Representative Tina Liebling, Chair of the Committee, called the virtual Health Finance and Policy Committee meeting to order at 3:00 P.M. on March 23, 2022 pursuant to House rule 10.01. The meeting is being broadcast via Zoom and House Public Information Services.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Bierman moved that the minutes of March 21, 2022 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF3631 (Morrison) Medicine and acupuncture licensure requirements modified, physician and physician assistants disciplinary action forms strengthened, and professional corporation rules repealed.

Representative Morrison moved that HF3631, as amended by the H3631A1 Amendment adopted on March 8, 2022, be passed, as amended, and re-referred to the Committee on Ways and Means Committee.

Representative Morrison explained her bill as amended.

Representative Morrison renewed her motion that HF3631, be passed, as amended, and re-referred to the Committee on Ways and Means.

HF3854 (Hollins) Pharmacists authorized to prescribe, dispense, and administer drugs to prevent the acquisition of human immunodeficiency virus; and pharmacists authorized to order, conduct, and interpret laboratory tests necessary for therapy that uses drugs to prevent the acquisition of human immunodeficiency virus.

Chair Liebling moved that HF3854, as amended by the H3854A1 Amendment adopted on March 7, 2022, be recommended to pass, and re-referred to the Committee on Ways and Means.

Representative Hollins presented her bill as amended.

Chair Liebling renewed her motion that HF3854, as amended, be recommended to pass and be re-referred to the Committee on Ways and Means.

Chair Liebling moved that HF3560, as amended by the H3560A1 Amendment adopted on March 7, 2022, be recommended to pass and re-referred to the Committee on Ways and Means.

Chair Liebling moved that H3560A2 Amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Chair Liebling moved the H3513A3 Amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Koegel presented her bill as amended.
