COMMITTEE MINUTES
Representative Connie Bernardy, Chair of the Higher Education Finance and Policy Division, called the virtual committee meeting to order at 3:00 P.M. on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 pursuant to House rule 10.01. The meeting was broadcast via Zoom and House Public Information Services.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Vice Chair Christensen moved to approve the minutes from February 17, 2021. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
HF 1493 (Stephenson) Student loan servicers licensure required, certain student loan servicing practices prohibited, and money appropriated.
Chair Bernardy moved that HF 1493 be referred to the Judiciary & Civil Law Division.
Representative Stephenson presented HF 1493 to the committee.
