MINUTES

Representative Alice Hausman, Chair of the Housing Finance and Policy Committee, called the virtual meeting to order at 10:30 A.M. on Tuesday, February 9th, 2021 pursuant to House rule 10.01. The meeting was broadcast via Zoom and House Public Information Services.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Rep. Howard moved approval of the Minutes from Tuesday, February 2nd. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE MINUTES WERE ADOPTED.

HF 398 (Her) – Residential lease implied covenants amended, tenant remedies against landlords for repairs provided, and tenant allowed to request emergency repairs at court.

Rep. Her moved that House File 398 be recommended to pass and re-referred to the committee on Judiciary Finance and Civil Law.
