MINUTES


Representative Lillie, Chair of the Legacy Finance Committee, called the virtual meeting to order at 8:30 A.M. on February 3, 2021 pursuant to House rule 10.01. The meeting was conducted over Zoom and broadcast via House Public Information Services.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative JORDAN moved to approve the minutes from January 27, 2021. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Presentation on the impact of COVID-19 on Minnesota’s Parks and Trails Projects.

- Laura Preus: Section Manager, Minnesota Department of Natural Resources- Parks and Trails Division
- Renee Mattson: Executive Director, Greater Minnesota Regional Parks and Trails Commission
- Lisa Barajas: Director of Community Development, Metropolitan Council

Presentation on the impact of COVID-19 on Minnesota’s Clean Water Fund Project.

Presenters:
- Paul Gardner: Administrator, Clean Water Council
- Katrina Kessler: Minnesota PCA & Interagency Coordination Team (ICT) for the Clean Water Fund

Presentation on the impact of COVID-19 on Minnesota’s Outdoor Heritage Fund Projects.

Presenters:
- Mark Johnson: Executive Director, Lessard-Sams Outdoor Heritage Council
- Greg Hoch: Prairie Habitat Supervisor, Minnesota Department of Natural Resources
- Wayne Ostlie: Director of Land Protection, Minnesota Land Trust
- Kathy Varble: Conservation Partners Legacy Grant Coordinator, Minnesota Department of Natural Resources

The meeting was adjourned at 10:00 A.M.
