SUBCOMMITTEE ON LEGISLATIVE PROCESS REFORM MINUTES

Representative Gene Pelowski, Chair of the Subcommittee on Legislative Process Reform, called the virtual meeting to order at 1:04 PM on January 22, 2021 pursuant to House rule 10.01. The meeting was conducted over Zoom and broadcast via House Public Information Services.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Colbey Sullivan, House Research, presented an overview of Minnesota Statute Chapter 12: Emergency Management.

Presentation on the current state of the COVID-19 Pandemic in Minnesota, including Governor Walz’ Executive Order ensuring businesses provide safe environments to protect public health (Executive Order 21-01) and Governor Walz’ Executive Order requiring face coverings in indoor public spaces (Executive Order 20-81).
