WAYS AND MEANS COMMITTEE

MINUTES

Representative Rena Moran, Chair of the Committee, called the remote Ways and Means Committee meeting to order at 9:00 A.M. on Tuesday, April 20, 2021, pursuant to House rule 10.01. The meeting was conducted over Zoom and broadcast via House Public Information Services and Facebook Live.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Schultz moved to adopt the minutes from Monday, April 19, 2021. THE MOTION PREVAILED.


BUDRES01-2 2021 Budget Resolution

Chair Moran moved the 2021 Budget Resolution, coded BUDRES01-2 before the committee.

Chair Moran moved to adopt the BUDRES01-2-A01 amendment.

Dave Greeman, Budget Director, Department of Human Services, offered testimony on changes in the Budget Resolution as they relate to the Health and Human Services targets.

Following discussion, Chair Moran renewed the motion to adopt the BUDRES01-2-A01 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.


HF2128 (Liebling) Health and Human Services Omnibus

Representative Liebling moved that HF2128 be recommended to be placed on the General Register.

Representative Liebling moved to adopt the H2128A67-1 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Liebling moved to adopt the H2128A68 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Liebling renewed the motion that HF2128, as amended, be recommended to be placed on the General Register. A roll call was taken, and the results were as follows:
