CLIMATE AND ENERGY FINANCE AND POLICY MINUTES

Representative Patty Acomb, Chair of the Committee on Climate and Energy Finance and Policy, called the meeting to order at 3:00 PM on February 8, 2023 in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Kraft moved that the minutes from February 7, 2023 be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 1021 (Pinto); Contingency fund established to pay costs associated with installation of installation of solar photovoltaic array.

Chair Acomb moved HF 1021 to be laid over.

Chair Acomb moved the DE1 Amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Pinto presented HF 1021 as amended.

Chair Acomb renewed the motion that HF 1021 as amended be laid over. The bill was laid over.

HF 826 (Newton); Prevailing wage agreements required for projects funded in whole or in part with renewable development account funds.

Representative Newton moved that HF 826 be re-referred to the Committee on Labor and Industry.

Representative Newton moved the A1 Amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Newton presented HF 826 as amended.
