MINUTES

Representative Liebling, Chair of the Committee, called the meeting to order at 10:31 A.M. on January 17, 2023 in Room 5 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Vice Chair Bierman moved that the minutes of January 12, 2023 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF52 (Richardson) Pregnant patient right established to have a designated support person present while receiving health care.

Chair Liebling moved that HF52 be recommended to be placed on the General Register.

Representative Richardson presented her bill.

Representative Neu Brindley moved the H0052A1 Amendment and requested a roll call vote. The results were as follows:

On a vote of 7 AYES and 11 NAYS THE MOTION DID NOT PREVAIL.

Chair Liebling renewed her motion that HF52 be recommended to be placed on the General Register. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF210 (Bahner) Separate medical assistance reimbursement provided for long-acting reversible contraceptives.

Representative Bahner moved that HF210 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Health Finance and Policy Committee bill.

Representative Bahner moved the H0210A1 Amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Bahner presented her bill as amended.

Chair Liebling laid over HF210, as amended, for possible inclusion in the Health Finance and Policy Committee bill.
