HUMAN SERVICES FINANCE COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES

Representative Mohamud Noor, Chair of the Committee on Human Services Finance, called the meeting to order at 1:01 PM on February 14, 2023 in Room 200 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Vice Chair Bahner moved that the minutes of February 9, 2023, be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 585 (Klevorn); Care evaluation established as a covered medical assistance home care service, medical assistance homemaker rates modified, and report required.

Chair Noor moved that HF 585 be laid over for possible inclusion in a future Human Services Finance omnibus bill.

Chair Noor moved the A1 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Testifying on HF 585, as amended:

Chair Noor renewed the motion that HF 585, as amended, be laid over for possible inclusion in a future Human Services Finance omnibus bill. The bill was laid over.

HF 1067 (Hanson); Personal care assistance program modified.

Chair Noor moved that HF 1067 be laid over for possible inclusion in a future Human Services Finance omnibus bill.

HF 696 (Frederick); Community first service and support payment rates modified.

Chair Noor moved that HF 696 be laid over for possible inclusion in a future Human Services Finance omnibus bill.

Chair Noor moved the A1 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
