EDUCATION FINANCE COMMITTEE MINUTES

Representative Cheryl Youakim, Chair of the Education Finance Committee, called the meeting to order at 10:31 AM on March 23, 2023, in Room 120 of the Capitol Building.

Representative Sencer-Mura moved that the minutes from March 21st, 2023, be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 2685 (Hornstein) Education on the Holocaust, genocide of Indigenous People, and other genocides required for middle and high school students; working group created; reports required; and money appropriated.

Vice Chair Clardy moved HF 2685 before the committee.

Vice Chair Clardy moved the A1 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
