EDUCATION FINANCE COMMITTEE MINUTES

Representative Cheryl Youakim, Chair of the Education Finance Committee, called the meeting to order at 10:30 AM on February 28, 2023, in Room 120 of the Capitol Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistance noted the roll.

Representative Pursell moved that the minutes from February 21, 2023, be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 1917 (Rehm) Distribution of aid to regional public library systems modified, regional library basic system support aid linked to future increases in basic formula allowance, and money appropriated.

Representative Rehm move HF 1917 before the committee.

Representative Rehm moved the A1 amendment before the committee. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDEMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Rehm presented HF 1917 as amended.
