LABOR AND INDUSTRY FINANCE AND POLICY COMMITTEE MINUTES

Representative Michael V. Nelson, Chair of the Labor and Industry Finance and Policy Committee, called the meeting to order at 1:02 P.M. on March 26th, in Room 10 of the State Office Building. It was broadcast via House Public Information Services.

A quorum was present.

Representative Myers moved that the minutes of March 21, 2024, be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 4390 (Wolgamott) Water service line design and installation by licensed well contractors allowed.

Representative Wolgamott moved that HF 4390 be laid over for possible inclusion in a future bill.

Testifying on HF 4390:

Representative Wolgamott renewed his motion that HF 4390 be laid over for possible inclusion in a future bill.

HF 4787 (Hill) Wage deductions for credit card charges modified.

Representative Hill moved that HF 4787 be laid over for possible inclusion in a future bill.

Representative Nelson moved HF 3947 be moved to the General Register.

Representative Nelson moved the A24-0263DE amendment.

Representative Nelson moved the H3947A1 amendment to the A24-0263DE amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Myers moved the H3947A2 amendment to the A24-0263DE amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Nelson renewed the motion to adopt the A24-0263DE amendment, as amended. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Nelson renewed the motion to adopt HF 3947, as amended. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

The meeting was adjourned at 1:53 P.M.
