LABOR AND INDUSTRY FINANCE AND POLICY COMMITTEE MINUTES

Representative Michael V. Nelson, Chair of the Labor and Industry Finance and Policy Committee, called the meeting to order at 1:03 P.M. on April 4th, in Room 10 of the State Office Building. It was broadcast via House Public Information Services.

A quorum was present.

Representative Jordan moved that the minutes of April 2, 2024, be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 4713 (Curran) Commission of labor and industry required to adopt rules related to acceptable blood lead levels for workers.

Chair Nelson moved that HF 4713 be re-referred to the Health Finance and Policy Committee.

Testifying on HF 4713:

Chair Nelson renewed his motion that HF 4713 be re-referred to the Health Finance and Policy Committee. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 2513 (Hanson, J) Subminimum wages prohibited for persons with disabilities.

Chair Nelson moved that HF 2513 be laid over for consideration in a future bill.

Chair Nelson moved the H2513DE2 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
