Rules and Legislative Administration Committee Minutes

Representative Jamie Long, Chair of the Committee on Rules and Legislative Administration, called the meeting to order at 10:00 am on May 20, 2023 in The SOB Basement.

Chair Long moved that SF37 be referred to the General Register.

Representative Her presented SF37.

There being 5 AYES and 7 NAYS THE MOTION DOES NOT PREVAIL.

Chair Long renewed the motion that SF37 be placed on the General Register. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

The committee recessed.

Representative Jamie Long, Chair of the Committee on Rules and Legislative Administration, reconvened the meeting at 11:51am on May 20, 2023 in Capitol Room 120.

Chair Long moved the adoption of the Calendar for the Day pursuant to rule 1.21 & 3.33, The Committee on Rules and Legislative Administration designates Monday, May 22, 2023 for the adoption of the Calendar for the Day and has established a pre-filing requirement for amendments offered to those bills.

The meeting was adjourned at 11:53am.
