Rules and Legislative Administration Committee Minutes

Representative Jamie Long, Chair of the Committee on Rules and Legislative Administration, called the meeting to order at 8:30am on January 31, 2023 in the State Office Building Basement Hearing Room.

A quorum was present.

Vice Chair Hollins moved the minutes from January 26, 2023. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Chair Long moved the adoption of the Calendar for the Day pursuant to rule 1.21 & 3.33, The Committee on Rules and Legislative Administration designates February 2nd, 2023 for the adoption of the Calendar for the Day and has established a pre-filing requirement for amendments offered to those bills. THE MOTION PREVAILED

Chair Long moved to approve the Permanent Rules of the House of Representatives for 2023. THE MOTION PREVAILED
