TAXES COMMITTEE MINUTES

Representative Aisha Gomez, Chair of the Committee on Taxes, called the meeting to order at 1:03 PM on February 14, 2023 in Room 5 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Vice Chair Norris moved the minutes from February 9th, 2023. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF1488 (Youakim) Individual income tax provisions modified, corporate franchise tax provisions modified, and historic structure rehabilitation credit modified.

Representative Youakim moved that HF1488 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Taxes Omnibus bill.

Representative Youakim moved the H1488A2 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Youakim presented HF1488, as amended.

HF1487 (Reyer) Revenue recapture provisions modified, claims from hospitals and ambulance services disallowed.
Chair Gomez moved that HF1487 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Taxes Omnibus bill.

Representative Reyer presented HF1487.
