MINUTES

Representative Brad Tabke, Vice-Chair of the Transportation Finance and Policy Committee, called the meeting to order at 06:00 P.M., on March 22, 2023, in Room 10 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Petersburg moved the minutes of March 21, 2023. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF2618 (Hussein) St. Paul; Rice Street Capitol Area redesign project funding provided, and money appropriated.

Representative Tabke moved that HF2618 be laid over for possible inclusion in a future Transportation Finance and Policy omnibus bill.

Representative Hussein presented HF2618.

Representative Tabke renewed the motion that HF2618 be laid over for possible inclusion in a future Transportation Finance and Policy omnibus bill. The bill was laid over.

Chair Hornstein assumed the gavel.

HF2604 (Jordan) Transit service improvement funding provided, including transit fare elimination, transit shelters, zero-emission bus transition, arterial bus rapid transit planning, and transit signal priority system planning; working group established; reports required; and money appropriated.

Chair Hornstein moved that HF2604 be laid over for possible inclusion in a future Transportation Finance and Policy omnibus bill.

Representative Jordan presented HF2604.

Representative Koegel moved that HF1947 be laid over for possible inclusion in a future Transportation Finance and Policy omnibus bill.

Representative Koegel moved the DE1 amendment to HF1947. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Chair Hornstein moved that HF2361 be laid over for possible inclusion in a future Transportation Finance and Policy omnibus bill.

Representative Hornstein moved the A1 amendment to HF2361. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
