WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT FINANCE AND POLICY COMMITTEE

Representative Becker-Finn, Member of the Workforce Development Finance and Policy Committee, called the meeting to order at 8:31 AM on March 8, 2023, in Room 5 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Rep. Baker moved that the minutes of March 8, 2023, be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 1501 (Brand); Rate increases for providers of extended employment services provided, and money appropriated.

Vice Chair Brand moved that HF 1501 be re-referred to the State and Local Government Finance and Policy Committee.

Vice Chair Brand moved the H1501A1 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Vice Chair Brand presented HF 1501 as amended.

Chair Xiong moved that HF 1986 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Workforce Development Finance and Policy Committee omnibus bill.
