AGRICULTURE FINANCE AND POLICY COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES
Representative Rick Hansen, Co-Chair of the Committee on Agriculture Finance and Policy, called the meeting to order at 1:00 P.M. on, Wednesday, April 9, 2025, in Room G3 of the State Capitol Building.
The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Vang moved that the minutes of April 6, 2025, be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
HF2446 (Anderson) Department of Agriculture, Board of Animal Health, and Agricultural Utilization Research Institute budget established; policy and technical changes made to agriculture provisions; fees modified and established; civil penalties provided; money transferred; and money appropriated.

Chair Anderson moved that HF 2446 be re-referred to the Committee on Ways and Means
Chair Anderson moved the H2446DE4 amendment to HF 2446.
Chair Anderson presented the DE4 amendment.
Representative Frederick moved the A2 amendment to the H2446DE4 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED, THE AMENDMENT, TO THE AMENDMENT, WAS ADOPTED.
Chair Anderson moved the H2446A3 amendment to the H2446DE4 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT, TO THE AMENDMENT, WAS ADOPTED.
Chair Anderson presented the H2446DE4 as amended.
Chair Anderson renewed the motion to adopt the H2446DE4 amendment, as amended. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT, AS AMENDED, WAS ADOPTED.
Chair Anderson presented HF 2446 as amended.
Chair Anderson renewed the motion that HF 2446, as amended, be re-referred to the Committee on Ways and Means and directed non-partisan staff to make any necessary technical changes. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
